Assist with and perform cardiac procedures according to qualification and institutional facilities. Participate in emergency cardiac care and resuscitation. Conduct clinical rounds and supervise patient management. Guide Senior Residents, Junior Residents, interns and medical students. Participate in seminars, journal clubs, case presentations and academic meetings. Assist postgraduate students with research, dissertations and academic presentations. Contribute to clinical research, publications and conferences. Participate in university examinations and internal assessments. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Follow NMC guidelines, hospital protocols, patient-safety standards and medical ethics. Eligibility for Assistant Professor – Cardiology MBBS + MD/DNB in General Medicine/Internal Medicine with DM/DNB/DrNB in Cardiology, as applicable. Super-specialty qualification should be from an NMC-recognized institution. Valid registration with NMC/State Medical Council. Candidates must fulfil applicable NMC eligibility requirements for Assistant Professor – Cardiology. Candidates with teaching, clinical and research experience will be preferred.
