The position involves academic leadership, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, comprehensive dermatological care, postgraduate supervision, research and departmental development. Key Responsibilities Lead undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Dermatology. Conduct lectures, clinical demonstrations, seminars, case discussions and practical sessions. Provide expert consultation and management of dermatological conditions. Supervise OPD, inpatient and emergency dermatology services. Guide postgraduate students in clinical cases, dissertations and research activities. Manage complex cases involving psoriasis, vitiligo, autoimmune and vesiculobullous disorders. Supervise procedural dermatology, dermatopathology and laser procedures as per expertise. Oversee STI, HIV and leprosy-related clinical services. Participate in multidisciplinary clinical discussions and tumour-board meetings when required. Lead departmental research and contribute to publications and scientific presentations. Mentor Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Senior Residents and postgraduate students. Participate in university examinations, academic assessments and curriculum development. Ensure compliance with NMC standards, hospital protocols and professional ethics. Eligibility MBBS with MD/DNB/DVL in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprology from an NMC-recognized institution. Valid registration with NMC/State Medical Council. Candidates must meet the applicable NMC faculty eligibility requirements for Professor. Relevant teaching experience in an NMC-recognized medical college is required. Strong postgraduate teaching, research and clinical experience preferred. Experience As per applicable NMC norms for Professor – Dermatology. Candidates with strong academic leadership, postgraduate teaching and clinical experience will be preferred.
