About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and experienced Consultant General Medicine / Physician to join our clinical team at our premier hospital in Dehradun. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of adult medical conditions, provide expert diagnosis for complex multi-system diseases, and head our emergency medical triaging services. Key Roles & Responsibilities Outpatient & Inpatient Care: Conduct comprehensive outpatient (OPD) clinics and manage inpatient (IPD) admissions, including daily rounds and specialized treatment plans. Critical Care Coordination: Evaluate and stabilize acute medical emergencies, working closely with the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and emergency response teams. Diagnostic Interpretation: Order, interpret, and evaluate specialized diagnostic laboratory tests, radiological scans, and non-invasive cardiac procedures (ECG, Echocardiograms). Chronic Disease Management: Formulate long-term therapeutic plans for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, infectious diseases, and respiratory disorders.Inter-Department Consultation: Provide expert cross-referral clinical opinions to surgical, orthopedic, and obstetric departments for pre-operative and post-operative patient optimization. Eligibility & Qualifications Education: Mandatorily hold an MD in General Medicine or DNB in Internal Medicine from an NMC-recognized medical college. Registration: Must possess an active registration with the Uttarakhand Medical Council (UKMC) or the National Medical Commission (NMC) .Experience: Open to applicants with 0 to 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience (both recent postgraduates and seasoned consultants are welcome).
