About the Role We are seeking an academic medical professional to join our institution as an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OBGYN) in Solapur. This faculty position balances medical student education, postgraduate residency mentorship, and advanced clinical care within the hospital wing. Key Roles & Responsibilities Academic Delivery: Conduct structured lectures, bedside clinical clinics, and case demonstrations for MBBS and MS/DNB students per NMC norms. Clinical Operations: Oversee high-risk labour rooms, run outpatient clinics, and independently perform major obstetric and gynaecological surgeries. Research Mentorship: Guide postgraduate resident thesis preparations, monitor clinical trials, and publish research papers in indexed journals. Student Assessment: Design formative institutional tests and act as an internal examiner for university-level practical examinations. Department Administration: Assist the Head of Department (HOD) with clinical audit scheduling and administrative management. Eligibility & Qualifications Education: Mandatorily hold an MS or MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from an NMC-recognized medical college. Experience: Minimum 4 to 5 years of post-PG teaching experience, with a mandatory tenure working as a full-time Assistant Professor. Registration: Possess a valid, active registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC).

The successful candidate will spearhead postgraduate and undergraduate medical curriculum delivery, mentor faculty members, and oversee high-risk obstetric and advanced gynaecological healthcare. Key Roles & Responsibilities Academic Leadership: Direct lectures, clinical demonstrations, and bedside teaching programs for MBBS and MS/DNB residency students according to National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines. Clinical Operations: Supervise complex labour room emergencies, high-risk pregnancies, major gynaecological operations, and advanced laparoscopic procedures. Research & Development: Mentor junior faculty and residents in research methodologies, supervising thesis presentations and tracking publications in indexed medical journals. Administrative Management: Manage departmental inventory, coordinate internal medical examinations, and participate in institutional planning and curriculum updates. Quality Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to clinical safety protocols, patient care ethics, and medical college hospitality regulations. Eligibility & Qualifications Education: Mandatorily hold an MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology or MD in OBGYN from an NMC-recognised medical college. Experience: Minimum of 7 to 8 years of post-PG teaching experience as per standard regulatory frameworks (with mandatory tenure working as an Associate Professor).
