Job Overview Join the faculty of our premier medical institution in Hyderabad, Telangana, as an Assistant Professor of Physiology. In this foundational academic and clinical role, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate medical (MBBS) and paramedical students, bridging the gap between basic medical sciences and clinical medicine. You will actively engage in innovative medical education methodologies, supervise experimental laboratory practicals, and initiate original research projects. This position offers an excellent platform for early-career medical academicians to develop teaching excellence, contribute to institutional research cells, and build a strong career path toward senior faculty roles while adhering strictly to national regulatory standards.Key Responsibilitie Deliver core lectures, execute small-group teaching, and facilitate problem-based learning sessions on human physiological systems for MBBS students. Conduct practical laboratory sessions, training students in hematology experiments, clinical examinations, and the use of basic diagnostic equipment. Incorporate modern educational tools such as digital simulation labs, interactive modules, and vertically integrated teaching with clinical departments. Engage in original medical research, drafting research protocols, applying for institutional grants, and authoring papers for indexed medical journals.Assist in departmental administration, including setting examination papers, evaluating student performance, and maintaining logs for regulatory compliance.Prepare operational documentation and maintain infrastructure readiness for annual National Medical Commission (NMC) inspections and institutional audits. Requirements MD or DNB in Physiology from an NMC-recognized medical college or university. Senior Residency experience of at least one year in the department of Physiology at an NMC-permitted or recognized medical institution. Valid TSMC registration (Telangana State Medical Council) is mandatory to teach and practice legally in the state. A strong academic track record with a keen interest in medical education technology, research methodologies, and publication writing.
