The position involves undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, comprehensive respiratory patient care, clinical supervision, academic mentoring, research and departmental development. Key Responsibilities Conduct undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Respiratory Medicine. Deliver lectures, tutorials, clinical demonstrations and case discussions. Provide comprehensive diagnosis and management of respiratory disorders. Manage patients with COPD, asthma, pneumonia, ILD, tuberculosis and other pulmonary conditions. Supervise inpatient, OPD and emergency respiratory care. Guide postgraduate students in clinical cases, dissertations and research activities. Participate in procedures such as bronchoscopy, pulmonary function testing and thoracic procedures as per expertise. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and critical-care management. Conduct seminars, journal clubs and academic meetings. Contribute to research, publications and scientific presentations. Mentor junior faculty, Senior Residents and postgraduate students. Participate in university examinations and departmental academic activities. Maintain high standards of patient care, clinical documentation and professional ethics. Eligibility MBBS with MD/DNB in Pulmonary Medicine / Respiratory Medicine / TB & Chest Medicine from an NMC-recognized institution. Valid registration with NMC/State Medical Council. Candidates must meet the applicable NMC faculty eligibility requirements for Associate Professor. Relevant teaching experience in an NMC-recognized medical college is required. Postgraduate teaching, research publications and experience in advanced respiratory procedures will be preferred. Experience As per applicable NMC norms for Associate Professor – Respiratory Medicine. Candidates with strong clinical, teaching and research experience will be preferred.
