Job Summary A leading, state-of-the-art super-specialty hospital in Bathinda is actively seeking an expert clinical professional for the position of Consultant Urologist. This premium surgical role is fully optimized for a highly skilled specialist capable of managing advanced endourological procedures, laparoscopic urology, and complex uro-oncology cases. The selected consultant will inherit an established patient load, head the advanced urology department, and provide superior care for renal and urological disorders to patients across the Malwa region of Punjab. Core Key Skills Required To maximize organic search reach on Google and easily clear medical Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), candidates must possess the following core competencies: Endourology Expertise: Complete hands-on mastery in performing PCNL, URSL, RIRS (Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery), and laser prostatectomies (HoLEP / TURP). Laparoscopic & Open Urology: Excellence in executing complex surgical interventions including laparoscopic nephrectomy, pyeloplasty, and open cystectomy. Uro-Oncology & Reconstructive Care: Proficiency in managing malignancies of the kidney, bladder, and prostate, alongside stricture urethrae repairs (urethroplasty). Andrology & Male Infertility: Strong clinical background in evaluating and treating male reproductive health issues and erectile dysfunction. Lithotripsy & Diagnostics: Expert interpretation of urological imaging, retrograde pyelograms, and diagnostic cystoscopies. Key Responsibilities Surgical Leadership: Lead and perform routine elective endourological surgeries and high-risk emergency urological interventions independently. OPD & IPD Management: Run highly efficient outpatient clinics and lead clinical rounds in the dedicated urology wards and surgical ICUs. Emergency Trauma Care: Provide immediate on-call interventions for acute urological emergencies, such as renal trauma, acute urinary retention, or torsions. Infrastructure Supervision: Oversee the maintenance and protocol standards of advanced medical equipment including Holmium lasers and lithotripsy units.
