This senior clinical role is fully optimized for an expert radiologist with a minimum of 5 years of post-PG experience who possesses strong diagnostic acumen across advanced imaging modalities. The selected specialist will head the imaging department, supervise cross-sectional reporting, and collaborate closely with clinical and surgical teams to deliver exceptionally precise diagnostic insights. Core Key Skills Required To maximize organic search reach on Google and easily clear medical Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), candidates must demonstrate mastery in the following core competencies: Advanced Cross-Sectional Imaging: Deep expertise in interpreting and reporting high-slice CT scans and high-tesla MRI studies (including neuroimaging, musculoskeletal, and abdominal imaging). Interventional Radiology Assistance: Proficiency in performing ultrasound/CT-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as fine-needle aspirations (FNAC), core biopsies, and fluid drainages. Ultrasonography & Color Doppler: Comprehensive hands-on skill in high-end obstetric scans (Anomaly scans, NT scans), musculoskeletal ultrasound, and vascular Doppler studies. Conventional Radiology: Mastery over digital X-ray interpretation, mammography reporting, and special fluoroscopic contrast investigations (HSG, IVP, Barium studies). PACS & Reporting Frameworks: Extreme efficiency in handling modern Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and speech-recognition reporting software to maintain rapid turnaround times. Key Responsibilities Diagnostic Reporting: Deliver accurate and timely interpretations for all cross-sectional imaging, routine ultrasounds, and emergency trauma scans. Quality Assurance: Maintain stringent radiation safety standards, oversee machine calibrations, and ensure absolute compliance with AERB guidelines. Inter-departmental Consultation: Participate actively in medical board reviews, oncology tumor boards, and complex clinical case discussions with primary physicians. Departmental Leadership: Mentor junior registrars, radiology residents, and medical imaging technologists to build a highly efficient workflow.

Requirements

  • Education: MD, DNB, or DMRD in Radiology / Radio-Diagnosis from an NMC-recognized, premier medical institution.
  • Experience: Strictly a minimum of 5 years of post-PG clinical experience working as a practicing Radiologist in a large-scale diagnostic center or corporate hospital.
  • Licensure: Mandatory active, permanent registration with the Odisha Medical Council (OMC) or National Medical Commission (NMC).
