Job Title: Interventional Cardiologist Location:Thrissur, Kerala Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience Department:Cardiology Employment Type: Full-time Job Description Mother Hospital, Thrissur, Kerala, is looking for an experienced and dedicated Interventional Cardiologist to join its Cardiology Department. The ideal candidate should have a strong clinical background in interventional cardiology, good procedural skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating and managing patients with cardiovascular conditions and performing interventional cardiology procedures as per clinical requirements. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage patients with coronary artery disease and other cardiovascular conditions. Perform and assist with interventional cardiology procedures, including coronary angiography and PCI. Evaluate patients before and after cardiac interventions and provide appropriate follow-up care. Manage emergency cardiac cases and provide timely clinical intervention when required. Work closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, intensivists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Follow evidence-based cardiology practices and hospital protocols. Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and contribute to quality patient care. Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, and follow-up care. Eligibility MD/DNB in General Medicine with DM/DNB in Cardiology or equivalent qualification. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Interventional Cardiology after completing the required specialty qualification. Experience in coronary angiography and PCI is preferred. Valid registration with the appropriate medical council. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and patient-care orientation.
