Job Description
Deepam Specialty Hospital, Valapady, Salem, is looking for a qualified Emergency Medicine Doctor to join its medical team.
The selected doctor will be responsible for providing timely assessment, stabilization, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting to the emergency department, including acute medical, surgical, trauma, and other emergency conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and manage patients presenting with acute and emergency medical conditions.
Provide immediate stabilization and emergency treatment.
Handle trauma and surgical emergencies.
Manage cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and other acute emergencies.
Perform emergency procedures as required and within the doctor's qualifications.
Coordinate with specialists for appropriate referral and further management.
Monitor critically ill patients and arrange timely escalation of care.
Maintain accurate emergency department records and clinical documentation.
Communicate treatment plans and emergency procedures to patients and attendants.
Follow hospital emergency protocols, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.
Participate in emergency duty and shift-based services as required.
Eligibility
MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine or equivalent recognized qualification preferred.
Candidates with relevant emergency-care experience may also be considered, subject to hospital requirements.
Valid medical registration.
Good clinical decision-making and communication skills.
