Job Summary
An established, NMC-recognized medical college in Vadodara is seeking an experienced medical educator and researcher for the position of Associate Professor in Physiology. This senior faculty role involves designing academic curriculum frameworks, managing advanced physiological research labs, and delivering high-quality training to undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD) medical students.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership: Design and deliver complex theoretical lectures and practical modules in neurophysiology, cardiovascular systems, and endocrinology.
Research Mentorship: Act as a primary guide or co-guide for MD Physiology postgraduate theses, steering candidates through research methodology and statistical analysis.
Lab Management: Oversee advanced human physiology, mammalian, and hematology teaching labs, ensuring high standards of equipment calibration and safety.
Curriculum & Examinations: Supervise internal assessments, formulate university-level examination papers, and coordinate practical viva-voce schedules.
Administrative Duties: Assist the Head of Department (HOD) in routine administrative functions and ensure continuous readiness for National Medical Commission (NMC) inspections.
