Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Senior Resident in General Surgery to join our clinical and teaching department at a premier Medical College in Hyderabad. The selected candidate will handle routine and emergency surgical procedures, ward management, outpatient consultations, and assist in bedside teaching and clinical training for undergraduate MBBS students and junior residents.
Key Responsibilities
Provide inpatient and outpatient care, perform independent elective/emergency surgical procedures, and assist Senior Consultants in complex surgeries.
Conduct ward rounds, manage surgical ICUs, and attend to emergency trauma calls.
Participate actively in academic activities, undergraduate teaching programs, seminars, and clinical grand rounds per NMC guidelines.
Requirements
MS or DNB in General Surgery from an NMC-recognized institution.
Valid registration with Telangana State Medical Council (TSMC) / NMC.
