Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced Associate Professor in Microbiology for a recognized Medical College in Khammam, Telangana. This senior faculty role involves leading undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate academic programs, supervising hospital diagnostic laboratories (bacteriology, virology, mycology, serology), and managing infection control protocols in compliance with National Medical Commission (NMC) standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver advanced theory lectures, practical sessions, and clinical microbiology demonstrations for MBBS and PG students.
Oversee diagnostic laboratory operations, quality control, and Hospital Infection Control Committee (HICC) activities.
Guide postgraduate research, thesis work, and conduct departmental research projects.
Maintain department compliance with NMC inspection guidelines, curriculum implementation, and university evaluation processes.
Requirements
MD in Microbiology from an NMC-recognized medical college.
Minimum teaching experience as Assistant Professor per NMC faculty eligibility norms.
Valid registration with Telangana State Medical Council (TSMC) or NMC.
