Job Description
Thangamani Co-operative Hospital, Kattappana, Idukki, is looking for a qualified Radiologist to provide ultrasound imaging services. The role is focused primarily on ultrasound scanning and reporting, with responsibility for accurate diagnosis and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and report ultrasound examinations accurately.
Conduct routine abdominal, pelvic, obstetric and other ultrasound scans as per clinical requirements.
Evaluate ultrasound findings and correlate them with the patient's clinical history.
Provide timely and accurate diagnostic reports.
Communicate significant or critical findings to the treating physician.
Maintain proper patient records and imaging documentation.
Ensure appropriate ultrasound protocols and patient-safety standards are followed.
Coordinate with clinicians and other healthcare professionals when required.
Eligibility
MBBS with MD/DNB/DMRD in Radiology or equivalent recognized qualification.
Valid registration with NMC/State Medical Council.
Good experience and proficiency in ultrasound scanning and reporting.
Candidates with relevant hospital/diagnostic-centre experience preferred.
