Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced Associate Professor in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology for a recognized Medical College in Khammam, Telangana. This senior faculty position involves leading undergraduate and postgraduate academic training, overseeing medico-legal work and autopsy procedures, and driving departmental research in compliance with National Medical Commission (NMC) standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver advanced theory lectures, clinical pathology seminars, and post-graduate mentoring in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.
Supervise complex post-mortem examinations, medico-legal autopsies, and clinical forensic expert testimony.
Oversee departmental administration, toxicological museum management, and student evaluation systems.
Lead clinical research projects, guide thesis work, and publish findings in indexed medical journals.
Requirements
MD in Forensic Medicine / Forensic Medicine & Toxicology from an NMC-recognized institution.
Requisite teaching experience as an Assistant Professor per NMC minimum qualifications for teachers.
Valid registration with Telangana State Medical Council (TSMC) or NMC.
