Job Overview
As a Consultant Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, Ultrasound, CT scans, MRI, Doppler, Mammography, and other imaging procedures depending on the facilities available at the center. You will ensure accurate reporting, maintain high diagnostic standards, and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies with accuracy and efficiency.
Perform and supervise Ultrasound, Doppler, CT, MRI, X-ray, and other imaging procedures.
Conduct image-guided procedures whenever applicable.
Ensure high-quality diagnostic reporting within established turnaround times.
Discuss imaging findings with referring physicians when necessary.
Maintain detailed patient records and radiology documentation.
Ensure radiation safety and adherence to quality assurance protocols.
Follow NABL/NABH standards, infection control measures, and patient safety guidelines.
Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education (CME).
Guide radiographers, sonographers, and technical staff to maintain quality imaging services.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in diagnostic imaging and radiology practices.
Eligibility Criteria
MBBS from a recognized medical college.
MD, DNB, or Diploma in Radiodiagnosis (DMRD) from a recognized institution.
Valid NMC or State Medical Council Registration.
Experience
Freshers and experienced Radiologists are welcome to apply.
Experience in Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and cross-sectional imaging is preferred.
Prior experience in a diagnostic center or multi-specialty hospital is an added advantage.
Required Skills
Strong expertise in diagnostic imaging interpretation.
Excellent knowledge of CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Doppler, Mammography, and X-ray reporting.
Ability to deliver accurate reports within stipulated timelines.
Strong analytical and clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to patient safety, quality assurance, and ethical medical practice.
Familiarity with RIS, PACS, and digital radiology workflow is desirable.
