Job Description
Thangamani Co-operative Hospital, Kattappana, Idukki, is looking for an experienced Paediatrician to join its medical team. The position involves providing comprehensive medical care to newborns, infants, children and adolescents, including diagnosis, treatment and preventive healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Provide consultation and comprehensive medical care for paediatric patients.
Diagnose and manage common and complex childhood illnesses.
Evaluate and treat acute and chronic paediatric conditions.
Manage paediatric emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
Conduct routine health assessments, growth and developmental monitoring.
Provide newborn and infant care as required.
Advise parents regarding nutrition, vaccination, child development and preventive healthcare.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Coordinate with other specialists and hospital departments when required.
Ensure high standards of patient safety, clinical care and professional ethics.
Eligibility
MBBS with MD/DNB/DCH in Paediatrics from a recognized institution.
Valid medical registration with NMC/State Medical Council.
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in Paediatrics.
Candidates with hospital-based clinical experience will be preferred.
