Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Anaesthesiologist to join the Critical Care / ICU team of a hospital in Palakkad. The doctor will be responsible for providing comprehensive critical care to seriously ill and post-operative patients, including ventilator management and emergency interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical care and monitoring for critically ill patients in the ICU.
Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced respiratory support.
Perform airway management, intubation and other emergency procedures.
Monitor and manage haemodynamic instability and critically ill patients.
Provide peri-operative and post-operative critical care.
Manage medical and surgical emergencies in coordination with other specialists.
Participate in ICU rounds and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Coordinate with surgeons, physicians, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate patient records and ICU documentation.
Follow hospital infection-control, patient-safety and critical-care protocols.
Participate in emergency and on-call duties as required.
Qualifications
MBBS with MD/DNB/DA in Anaesthesiology or equivalent qualification.
Valid medical registration.
Experience in Critical Care / ICU / Anaesthesia will be preferred.
