About the role
We are hiring an experienced Professor & Head of Department (HOD) in Physiology for a recognized Medical College in Khammam, Telangana. This senior leadership and academic position involves heading the Physiology department, managing undergraduate (MBSS) and postgraduate teaching curricula, supervising clinical physiology laboratories, and directing departmental research per National Medical Commission (NMC) standards.
Key Responsibilities
Head the Department of Physiology and oversee all undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate academic and practical training schedules.
Deliver advanced lectures, mentor postgraduates, and supervise university evaluation processes and clinical practical examinations.
Guide thesis research, conduct research projects, and publish scientific papers in indexed national and international medical journals.
Maintain department compliance with NMC inspection guidelines, faculty development, and academic curriculum management.
Requirements
MD in Physiology from an NMC-recognized medical college.
Requisite academic teaching experience as Associate Professor per NMC faculty eligibility norms.
Valid registration with Telangana State Medical Council (TSMC) or NMC.
