Job Title: Consultant Cosmetic Gynaecologist Department: Obstetrics & Gynaecology Hospital: Daya General Hospital & Speciality Surgical Centre Location: Thrissur, Kerala – 680022 Job Description Daya Hospital, Thrissur, is looking for a qualified and experienced Cosmetic Gynaecologist to join its women's healthcare team. The position involves providing specialized consultation and treatment for women's intimate health, aesthetic and functional concerns, with a focus on patient comfort, privacy and individualized care. The role will work closely with the hospital's existing Obstetrics & Gynaecology, minimally invasive surgery, infertility and aesthetic surgery services. Daya Hospital provides laparoscopic and hysteroscopic gynaecological procedures, uro-gynaecology services and aesthetic surgery facilities. Key Responsibilities Provide consultation and comprehensive evaluation for cosmetic and functional gynaecological concerns. Assess and manage women experiencing changes following childbirth, ageing, hormonal changes or other gynaecological conditions. Perform appropriate non-surgical and surgical cosmetic gynaecological procedures based on clinical indications. Manage conditions involving vaginal laxity, vulval concerns, pelvic floor-related symptoms and intimate discomfort. Provide appropriate counselling regarding available treatment options, expected outcomes, benefits and risks. Evaluate patients for procedures and ensure appropriate pre-operative and post-operative care. Collaborate with the Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Plastic Surgery, Dermatology and other relevant departments when required. Maintain strict patient confidentiality, privacy and professional standards. Ensure accurate clinical documentation and follow hospital protocols. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to quality patient care. Preferred Qualifications MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or equivalent recognized qualification. Additional fellowship, certification or training in Cosmetic Gynaecology, Aesthetic Gynaecology, Uro-Gynaecology, Minimal Access Surgery or Pelvic Floor Surgery will be an advantage. Valid medical registration. Relevant experience in cosmetic or advanced gynaecological procedures preferred. Key Skills Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Good knowledge of women's intimate health and aesthetic gynaecology. Excellent patient counselling and communication skills. Respectful and empathetic approach to sensitive women's health concerns. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and discretion. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
